2024 Grenache Rosé
Wine Maker Comments:
This Rosé was made in a direct-to-press Provencal style, with the intent of making the most crisp, refreshing, Rosé possible for the Paso Robles summertime or anytime of year, wherever you might be.
Vinification:
This Rosé was made entirely from Grenache vines that were farmed with the intent of making a pink wine. The fruit was harvested early in order to retain lots of natural acidity. We utilized 11 picking bins of Grenache and one bin of Syrah to add color. The grapes were sent directly to press, with 2 hours of skin contact time. The juice was chilled and the sediment left to settle for 2 days. The clean juice was racked off the sediment to begin fermentation using Elixir yeast. 100% stainless steel. Cold and slow fement, officially dry on October 11th and bottled in 2025.

Soil Type:
Well drained, decomposed limestone shale on a southwest facing hillside.
